By accessing or using Flashforge IDE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Flashforge ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, installing, or using Flashforge IDE, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Flashforge IDE is an AI-powered educational coding platform built on Visual Studio Code. It provides:

AI-powered code assistance (via Ollama, Gemini, or OpenAI)
Skills marketplace with 80+ coding skills
Assignment creation, submission, and grading
Role-based dashboards (SuperAdmin/Admin/Faculty/Student)
Anti-cheat detection and reporting
Flash Mode AI agent with session persistence

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flashforge IDE. Users under 18 must have parental or institutional consent. Institutional accounts require authorized administrative personnel.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
One account per person. Institutional accounts are for authorized personnel only.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

5. Free Plan

Flashforge IDE is free for all individual users. The Free Plan includes:

Full AI Chat access (with self-configured API keys or local Ollama)
80+ Skills Marketplace
Assignment submission and grading
Flash Mode with session persistence
All VS Code native features

No credit card or payment is required for the Free Plan.

6. Institutional Plan

The Institutional Plan costs ₹5,000/month and includes additional features:

Multi-user role management (Admin/Faculty/Student)
Faculty provisioning via CSV upload
Assignment creation with test cases and deadlines
Anti-cheat CSV report export
Institution dashboard and analytics
Priority support

Payment is processed via Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime from within the IDE.

7. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the compiled application.
Use AI-generated code to plagiarize or violate academic integrity policies.
Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
Abuse rate limits or attempt to overwhelm the service infrastructure.
Use the Service to harm minors or engage in exploitation.

8. Intellectual Property

Flashforge IDE is built on Visual Studio Code (MIT License). The Flashforge extension, dashboard system, AI harness, assignment system, and anti-cheat features are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary components without written permission.

Code you create using Flashforge IDE belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your source code, projects, or assignments.

9. AI-Generated Content

AI features (chat, code generation, skills) produce outputs based on your prompts. You are responsible for:

Reviewing AI-generated code for correctness and security.
Ensuring AI-generated content complies with academic integrity policies.
Understanding that AI outputs may contain errors or biases.

10. Payment & Refunds

Institutional Plan: ₹5,000/month via Razorpay.
Payments are non-refundable once the subscription period begins.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

11. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL FLASHFORGE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our data retention policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
